Accommodation, Safety and Wellbeing

Sol Camps considers safety as one of the most important aspects of its programs and we put a huge amount of effort into ensuring that the students have a great time while being safe. Sol Camps staff are available 24/7 for them to contact.

Students are hosted in local, British host families in beautiful Stratford-upon-Avon, walking distance from major attractions such as Shakespeare’s birthplace and grave, the River Avon, The Museum of Wizardology (a must for Harry Potter fans) and others. All host families are fully inspected, have up to date DBS checks and safety certificates.

Each student room is twin share and includes; single bed, dresser, shelving, desk, chair and access to free internet. Internet in the house is accessible but students must bring their own laptops or phones. Laundry facilities may be made available occasionally with a small charge payable to the host.

While on campus, students are monitored by our staff at all times. They are given ID Cards with the emergency contact numbers printed on.

Students never leave the host family unaccompanied. Teenagers may leave campus only with written parental consent.

There is an office on campus that is open every day for students to ask questions.
